It has remained relatively quiet with the Kenwood Racing stable the past couple weeks, but things are starting to pick up a bit for us, as we are actively searching for our first claim for this year’s Active Racing Club, ARC23! We have already lost a couple shakes during the competitive Championship Meet at Gulfstream Park, but are excited to get back into racing action! We still have ONE SHARE remaining in the ARC23 group, so please reach out to George or myself ASAP if you are interested! Tons of racing action all year long from Florida to NY, with no markups, reduced training and management fees and automatically become a Triple Crown Member for future discounts with 2yo purchases, or other Kenwood Racing groups!
-
Founder Robb Levinsky sent out an email earlier this week to everyone with a special invitation to come join the team down in Ocala for the OBS April Sale this year, from April 21st to the 28th; or any amount of time in between that you can make work! If you missed that email, please reach out and we’ll resend, but space is very limited, and there are quite a few that have already committed to joining us. It’s a fun atmosphere, a unique part of this wonderful thoroughbred industry, and we want our members to experience that with us. We will not only have horses from this pinhook group being sold at the sale, as well as the potential for our homebred Palace Malice filly, but we will also be there putting in extensive hours working to find our next 2yo runners! With some other special trips and sites to see in the works, it’s sure to be a fun time!

Her training will continue to increase over the next couple weeks in preparation of getting back to the race track for her 3yo debut as well!
-
U Kant Whip It remains spoiled at Sunset Meadows Farm during his R&R, and we are looking forward to sending him back into light training at Overbrook Farm with Rory Huston later this month, to have him ready to go at the start of turf racing in the Northeast, this May.
-
Here’s the video to watch My Map (#2) winning his latest stake in Saudi Arabia, as he heads for Saudi World Cup day!!!!! Lisa Limon’s first foal is doing her proud, 4 for 4, undefeated and unchallenged! Congratulations to his owners and to our Lisa Limon group! His sister is scheduled to sell at OBS this spring.

Lastly, this year’s inaugural Kenwood Racing Pinhooking Group purchased varying percentages in six different yearlings with Nick de Meric, and all six of those now 2yo’s are training well at Manuden Farm as well, and being pointed to various Spring 2yo sales, primarily the OBS March and OBS April sales.

It is always nice to finish out the year on a good note as Easy as A.B.C. had an easy time of it as he broke his maiden yesterday at Gulfstream Park. After struggling in his last 2 races against much tougher competition, he welcomed the class relief to win going away against a much less capable group. Although he was claimed from us, this race highlights the importance of running at a level that will best give a chance for a win. When running in much tougher races earlier this year, he was never better than 3rd and was never closer than 3 1/2 lengths from the winners. We wish him well with his new connections and will monitor his progress going forward.
-
U Kant Whip It is well at Sunset Meadow Farm and is certainly ready to celebrate as shown in the picture. Thanks to Jeannie and Ken for taking such great care of him and sending us timely photos.
-
Ellie's a Riot is set to breeze 3 furlongs next week in Ocala as she is progressing well.
-
Without a Net has been working under tack and doing well in Ocala (see picture of her on the training track). Thanks to Group Member Jim Walters who was able to visit her earlier this month.
-
Our Palace Malice - Lisa Limon21 filly is doing well at Manuden Farm with Nick de Meric while prepping for the spring sales as well as Group 88 Yearlings

Kenwood Racing Stable Notes for November 13, 2022
General News
With NJ racing finished for 2022, our horses are on the move to their winter quarters, which is detailed in this update. Some important news about our NYRA claiming group is detailed below by our Racing Manager Scott Schaub.
"In an effort to open up our NYRA claiming group to a few more individuals we will be offering all claimed horses on an individual basis with those who participate getting priority for participating in any future NY claims but with no obligation to participate in any additional claims. The team is already closely monitoring entries for our first claim at Aqueduct, and your 5% share in the first single horse group can now be reserved for just $4,500 which includes six months of training and management expenses. Any prorated training expenses are returned if we own the horse for less than six months. This amount allows for up to a $40,000 claim with any unused purchase funds returned if the claiming price is less. Simply reserve your spot now for our first NY runner, and its your choice to proceed with future runners, or not. We hope you'll join us for this exciting opportunity to run for lucrative purses at Aqueduct all Winter long, but space is limited with the group nearly sold out."
To reserve a spot or for any further information on the program, please contact Scott (Scott@Kenwoodracing.com) or George (George@kenwoodracing.com)
