A busy night upcoming with back- to- back races at the Meadowlands.

  • Without a Net is entered in race 5 at the Meadowlands Saturday night.  She will be getting some class relief and a surface change from dirt to turf to hopefully improve after her first two tries on the dirt.  Nick Juarez will ride in this five- furlong turf sprint that has been pared down to 10 horses after some scratches but still leaving from the tough post position 10.  Currently 8/1 on the board she has been working well in the morning and hopefully the change in surface will lead to some good results.  Good luck to all Group 84 members and our partner Golden Rock Thoroughbreds.
  • Outlaw Country is entered in Race 6 at the Meadowlands on Saturday night going five furlongs on the turf.  He will be moving up to Allowance company with hot rider Sammy Marin in the irons.  He is currently the 5/2 favorite in what is now a field of eight after two scratches.   Leaving from post position 2 he will try to win his fourth in a row on the turf and second straight for Kenwood.  Good luck to all Group 90 ARC23 members and Trainer – Partner Kelly Breen.
  • Boston Princess is pointed towards an entry on Friday October 6th after a nice 2nd place finish on Saturday September 2nd.  She has been training well and we are looking forward to her next entry as she is in good form earning her best Beyer’s Speed Figure in the last race.
  • Red Head Italian is well and being pointed to a Jersey Bred MSW race on Saturday September 30th at the Meadowlands.
  • Miti Fast Flower has recovered well from a brief illness and will have a breeze upcoming in preparation for her debut later this month.
  • Cali Heat has continued to progress off  his debut race in August and we are looking for a spot for him in the coming weeks.
  • Montauk Summer is fine and we are looking at a possible entry with some huge class relief on Friday September 29th at the Meadowlands.
  • U Kant Whip It is well after a disappointing showing last night and should be back in the entries in a couple of weeks.
  • Ellie's a Riot  is still on the farm in Florida but will be shipped to Hidden Brook Farm in Kentucky for final preparations for the November Sale on October 1st.
  • Lisa Limon and her Connect foal are well at Hidden Brook Farm.  Her Vino Rosso filly has arrived at Manuden Farm in Ocala and has begun the breaking process with Nick and Jacqui de Meric.  See link to video showing the 3rd day of the braking activity at Manuden Farm for the filly.  Listen to Jacqui’s comments about her and a tongue-in -cheek possible name for her.
