Sunday is our holiday party, all invited, We’ve received many RSVP’s (thank you!) but all welcome even at last minute.  A nice opportunity to celebrate another successful year and learn about a new, innovative and very exciting new program for the new year, ARC 2022!  The event will be held in Asbury Park in a beautiful event room in the building of Kenwood Racing partner Ellen Gaynor. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of easy parking on the street at this time of year, as well as a free parking garage a couple of blocks away. It’s a great opportunity for us to all be together for food and drink and for our team to offer our thanks for your support.

• On Saturday, Street Facts runs at Gulfstream Park. Doing well, last work was really good, ready for race and at a distance he should favor. He’s facing an exceptionally competitive group with well-bred entries by many top trainers (Pletcher, Casse, Mott, etc.). That’s normal for GP in winter, some of these horses could well end up running in triple crown preps here in the next few months, really good horses comes out of MSW races at GP this time of year. He’ll need a big effort here to compete, but has trained like a talented horse and we all feel deserves a shot at this level.
• Of course celebrating a nice maiden win for The Ghost of NY and a game 2^nd by Life On the Edge a few days ago, both of them came out of their races well and ready to run back once more time before year’s end. Same for U Kant Whip It in NY and Fire's Finale at Penn National, both well and ready to run in Dec.  Tessa P has been slow to come back to hand after acting up in the gate in her last, trainer Mark Salvaggio says she’s finally making good progress now.
• Tracy Ann's Legacy and Charge Account, two of our major success stories, are both nearing their returns from brief layoffs. Both claimed for bargain prices ($25,000 & $22,000), both have earned several times their purchases prices, won multiple allowance races (Tracy has placed in 2 stakes at Gulfstream as well), and been highly profitable to date. We hope they will be back in the entries by end of Dec. or early January. Our active racing program the last 2 years has done a standout job of coming up with horses like this, while at the same time winning with less successful claims that their new owners do a lot less with than we do. We claimed four horses this summer for example (R. Goodtime Charlie, Overdressed, Portal One, and The Ghost of NY), all of them have won for us, while of the three claimed away, only one has won so much as a single race (R Goodtime Charlie, who was then up the track yesterday). Our program finds bargain horses and gets them to the winner’s circle!
• Our Runhappy and Liam’s Map yearlings both doing super in Ocala. Runhappy is #2 on the leading second crop sire list now, while Liam’s Map continues to throw top stakes winners. Both should be popular commodities if we decide to offer them for sale next year or top racing prospects for us.
• Lisa Limon and her weanling filly both excellent in Kentucky!

• After a couple of quiet weeks, the action will be hot and heavy over the next few days.  Tonight, we have 3 horses running at Penn National.  The races will be broadcast on TVG2 not the regular TVG station. There is a live feed for Penn National that you can tap into to watch the races if you do not have access to TVG2 (see link). 
• If you can attend our Kenwood Racing year end get together in Asbury Park on Sunday December 12^th, please RSVP if you have not done so already, as we are expecting a large turn out.
• In addition, we have some exciting news from Monmouth Park.

• The Ghost of N Y is entered in Race 1 tonight at Penn National in what is now a 5 horse field after an early scratch.  He will get top rider Tyler Conner and currently is 2^nd choice at odds of 5/2.  Trainer Mark Salvaggio has been very happy with his progress after a short freshening at Sunset Meadow Farm and expects a big effort from him tonight.  Good luck to our Active Racing Group and all Group 72 members as well as our partner Ralph Pastore.
• Next up, Fire's Finale is entered in Race 6 at Penn National, a 5.5 furlong sprint,.  He has been training super and since there is nowhere else to run him we decided it was better to run now than sit in the barn.  The race comes up very tough and is more like a PA bred Stakes race than an Allowance.  He is the longest shot on the board in what is now a 7 horse race after an early scratch. That being said, he gets top rider Julio Hernandez in the irons, who guided him to a 2^nd place finish back in August.  So,with the experienced rider and the way he has been training, he may give us a good surprise.  Good luck to all Group 56 members and our partner Ralph Pastore. 
• Later on. Life On the Edge will run in the 8^th race at Penn National, 6 furlongs, on the dirt.  While the dirt track is not her preferred surface she holds a big class advantage over the rest of the now 7 horse field after an early scratch.  She has been training very well and also gets top rider Julio Hernandez, so we expect her to be very competitive in this spot.  Good luck to all Group 50 members.
• U Kant Whip It is entered tomorrow at Aqueduct in the 6^th race for a huge Maiden Special Weight purse of $80,000.  It is an overflow field of 10 and he is currently 15-1 on the morning line.  Top NY rider Jose Lezcano is up and Trainer Kelly Breen has been very happy with his recent works so we do think that he will have a good chance to be in the mix with a good trip and some racing luck.  Good luck to all Group 67 members and our partner Ralph Pastore.
• Cup of Life is entered on Monday December 6^th at Parx.  She also gets Julio Hernandez and is currently the 9/5 favorite.  We expect a solid effort from her as she proved that she can handle the surface at Parx after finishing 3^rd over a sloppy track back on October 26.  Good luck to all Group 68 members and our partner Ralph Pastore as she will try to break here maiden.
• Street Facts had a bullet work at Palm Meadows on Tuesday.  It was from the gate, on his own, Kelly told the rider to see if he’d go in 36 & change and he went a lot faster. Ready for the 11^th, MSW at Gulfstream Park. There’s 2 races that day, 1 mile and 6 furlongs, we’ll prefer the 1 mile but run in either. Off this work and his excellent debut, we’re expecting a big race from him.

• U Kant Whip It had to be scratched today when he didn’t draw in off the Also Eligible list in Race 9 at Aqueduct.  He is ready to run and will be entered as soon as there is a race for him.
• Street Facts is ready to run but the Maiden Special Weight at Gulfstream Park that was targeted for him on Sunday did not go.  He will be entered as soon as a race becomes available.   He had a nice maintenance work yesterday (see below).

• The Ghost of N Y also well at Penn National.  He will work in the coming week and will probably need a couple of breezes before being entered.

Happy Breeder’s Cup Eve!  A week of transition for our horses as most were on the move from Monmouth Park to their new homes for the late fall and winter. Also, some race results and works as well.  Please mark Sunday December 12^th on your calendars for our end of year/ holiday get together.  (Details to follow in the coming weeks.)

• Street Facts had his debut last Saturday at Delaware Park and finished a hard charging 4^th.  An impressive start over a sloppy track.  He broke alertly from the gate and was rated behind the speed up front finding himself about 10 lengths back at the top of the stretch.  He began to pick up speed roaring down the stretch to close the gap and finish just a length from 2^nd. and galloped out to pass the horses ahead of him after the finish line.  He is bred to be a classic distance horse and did just what we hoped for in his debut.  With some more experience and a longer race he should really excel.  We are very happy with the result even though he did not win because of the way that he finished.
• Fire's Finale ran at Penn National last night after stalking the leader with a very fast pace in the 1 1/16 race but just flattened out in the stretch to finish 4^th about 6 lengths behind.  He gave a good effort in this two turn race and should be ready to come back strong in the next few weeks.
• Tessa P is entered in a 10 horse field Friday night at Penn National. She has been training well and gets top rider Julio Hernandez in the irons to try to break her maiden.  She is 6/1 on the early line and should be very competitive in this slot.  Good luck to all group 66 members and our partner Ralph Pastore.
• U Kant Whip It also doing very well and will be entered in mid-November at either Belmont Park or Aqueduct to try to break his maiden.  Details to follow when available.

• A busy week of racing with a win a 3rd and a 4th to show from it.  First, Fire's Finale ran in the 100K Danzig Stakes at Penn National Friday night.  He finished a hard trying 4th after being shut off when trying to make a move to the outside at the top of the stretch.  Tyler Conner had to take hold and bring him back to the inside to get past horses and he rallied into 4th position just missing 3rd by a neck.  He would not have caught the very talented Beren who won by 5 ½ lengths but with a better trip he certainly could have earned the place position.  He has now gone to Penn National with Trainer Mark Salvaggio to train for an Allowance race in early November.
• Portal One made it 2 straight on Monday October 25th at Parx.  He went gate to wire with a very impressive performance under top rider Frankie Pennington, but was claimed from us in a 3-way shake.  Congratulations to our Active Racing, Group 71 and our partner Ralph Pastore.
• Cup Of Life finished 3rd at Parx on Tuesday October 26th on an extremely sloppy track.  Rider Frankie Pennington tried to get her to the lead but had to sit off the pace where she took a lot of mud into her face leaving her very uncomfortable.  But to her credit, she persevered and finished well.  She has also gone to Penn National to train with Mark Salvaggio for another try to break her maiden next month.
• Kant Whip It also doing very well and is one or two more works to being entered in a race.

• Charge Account and Tracy Ann's Legacy returned to Monmouth Park after their short stay at Sunset Meadow Farm.  They both received some well-deserved time out of the stall and will be moved shortly to Belmont Park and Palm Meadows, respectively.
• The Ghost of N Y is good at Sunset Meadow Farm and enjoying some paddock time. He is getting a brief rest before going to Penn National with trainer Mark Salvaggio next Monday.
• Our Liam’s Map Colt and Runhappy Yearling are both well at at Manuden Farm in Ocala. 
• Lisa Limon and her Palace Malice filly all doing well at Hidden Brook Farm

Another busy week coming up with 3 new entries and horses on the move.

• Fire's Finale will run in the 100K Danzig Stakes at Penn National tomorrow.  He has had 3 consecutive bullet works and gets top local rider Tyler Conner, who rode him in his last race (2^nd), back in the irons.   It is a tough group of 7 including multiple stakes winner Beren and should be a very exciting race. With his best effort the razor sharp Fire should be very competitive here.  Good luck to Group 56 and our Partner Ralph Pastore.
• Portal One is looking to make it 2 straight on Monday October 25^th at Parx.  He comes back quickly after an impressive win at Laurel Park on Oct 10^th.  Top rider Frankie Pennington will look to get a comfortable trip in what should be a large field of 12 and should go off as one of the favorites.  Please let us know if you are planning on attending.
• Good luck to our Active Racing Group, Group 71 and our partner Ralph Pastore. Cup Of Life is entered in the 2^nd race at Parx on Tuesday October 26^th.  She also gets top rider Frankie Pennington and at 7/2 is the morning line favorite in a field of 10.  She fits well with this group and with a good trip should be right in the mix. Please let us know if you plan on attending.  Good luck to Group 68 and our partner Ralph Pastore.
• U Kant Whip It also doing very well at Penn National and is very close to being entered in a race.

• Charge Account and Tracy Ann's Legacy have returned to Monmouth Park from their short stay at Sunset Meadow Far.  They both received some well deserved time out of the stall and are looking great.  Trainer Kelly Breen wanted to see them train for a few days before he makes the trip to California for the Breeder’s Cup.
• The Ghost of N Y is good at Sunset Meadow Farm and enjoying some paddock time. He is getting a brief rest before going to Penn National with trainer Mark Salvaggio. We are still planning on going to the farm to see these 3 on Sunday October 24^th around noon.  If you are able to attend please let me know ASAP so we can notify Jeannie and Ken.

A lot of good news with 2 wins, a lot of potential entries and some nice workouts as well.

• Life On the Edge won last Friday night at the Meadowlands with Paco Lopez sitting a dream trip just off of the speed, taking the lead at the top of the stretch to finish ahead by over a length.  This hard trying filly finally was able to get her preferred track conditions and showed she was up to the challenge. Congratulations to all Group 50 and the Kelly Breen barn for this nice win.  She came out of the race well and should be ready to go again shortly
• Not to be outdone Portal One won going away on Sunday at Laurel Park under a terrific ride by Mychel Sanchez.  He broke well and sat a few lengths behind the leaders then at the top of the stretch burst through along the rail to take command and win by a widening margin.  Congratulations to our Active Racing Club now with 3 of the 4 horses posting wins, Group 71 and our Partner Ralph Pastore and his family.  Looking forward for more good things ahead with a possible entry at the end of October.
• Fire's Finale continues to be pointed to the Danzig Stakes at Penn National on October 22^nd and has been galloping daily to stay in peak condition for this one.  More details to come when available.
• Street Facts had another good timed work on October 9th and is really moving forward with his racing debut around the end of the month.

• U Kant Whip It also doing very well and needs a couple of works before being entered for a race.
• Charge Account and Tracy Ann's Legacy both well at Sunset Meadow Farm.  Charge Account will go to New York for the winter and Tracy Ann’s Legacy will head to Gulfstream Park where she can continue to run on her preferred turf surface or perhaps on the new Tapeta Course there.
• The Ghost of N Y is fine out of a rough trip on Saturday and is now at Sunset Meadow Farm for a brief freshening. He will enjoy a couple of weeks out of the stall before going to Penn National with trainer Mark Salvaggio for a little easier competition in his next race. 
• Our Liam’s Map Colt and our Runhappy Yearling are both well at at Manuden Farm in Ocala.  See the video courtesy of Jaqui De Meric of the  Liam’s Map colt with a rider up after being broken.  Also, some great news for The Runhappy colt as his sire got his first Graded stakes win this past weekend. • Life On the Edge  is entered on the turf going 1 1/16 Miles  tomorrow night Friday October 8^th at the Meadowlands.  She is ready to run and gets Monmouth Park’s leading rider Paco Lopez from the 7 post on her preferred surface and distance.  There are 12 horses entered, with 2 alternates, so with such a large field, the trip she gets should dictate her success, as she is 4-1 and 2^nd favorite on the morning line.  In preparation, she had a nice maintenance work on Oct 3^rd.  Good luck to Group 50 and Trainer Kelly Breen and we expect a good crowd to be there cheering her on.

• The Ghost of N Y is entered in a 10 horse field for the 8^th Race Saturday October 9^th at Laurel Park.  He gets up and coming rider Mychel Sanchez and will go off at long odds after being well beaten in his last.  We expect him to show good improvement here at a little easier level in this 7 furlong dirt race.  Good luck to Group 73 and Trainer Kelly Breen.
• Portal One is entered in a short field of 6 at Laurel Park on Sunday.  He also gets Mychel Sanchez aboard going 6 furlongs on the main track and should be a very tough customer here.  Good luck to Group 71 and Trainer Kelly Breen.
• Fire's Finale had another great work this morning and is training tremendously, very similar to last fall when he won the Nursery Stakes at Parx as a 2 year old.  He is being pointed to a $100 K Stakes at Penn National on October 22^nd and we feel confident that he will be in peak condition for this one.  More details to come when available.
