Hi All,

Another busy weekend ahead with 2 runners in two different states and some breezes for the others.

Outlaw Country is entered in race 5 at the Meadowlands tonight going 5 furlongs on the turf with Fernando Jara in the irons (see pp’s above and details below) to try for two wins in a row.  They are currently second choice at 4-1 on the morning line in a field of nine with one scratch. Good luck to our ARC23 Group 90 Members and Trainer- Partner Kelly Breen.  Scott’s pre-race comments are below.

It’s race night for OUTLAW COUNTRY today at the Monmouth at the Meadowlands Meet, as North Jersey escaped the heavy rains we saw yesterday in the Northeast! The turf is currently listed as ‘Good’, and Outlaw Country drew the outside Post Position #10 in Race 5, going 5.5-furlongs on the turf. Jockey Samy Camacho has decided to take the night off, so we have named the younger rider, Fernando Jara to the mount. There was only one early scratch in the race with #4-Wora, so OC will still face off against a big field of nine runners. With the #3-Chuck Willis likely ensuring an honest pace on the front end, we’ll need OC to use his tactical speed early to avoid getting shuffled too far back, or getting caught too wide into the turn. He’s the second choice on the ML at 4-1 odds, with #6-Atta Party, as a lukewarm favorite at 7-2 odds. #7-Bourbon Boss was the second choice favorite last out against OC, and while he finished last that day (only beaten 3.5 lengths), he’s a winner at this distance against Allowance company earlier this year and isn’t one to overlook tonight. #8-Point Liam just missed last out against OC and was closing late to get up for 3rd place, beaten less than a length for the Win. At the end of the day, it’s a tough spot for the level, but that is what you get at this point in the season.

Outlaw Country is entered on September 26, 2025 at MEADOWLANDS.

Speed Figures is all set to go in Race 7 on Sunday at Laurel Park (See pp’s attached above and details below).  He has had two strong breezes (see below) leading up to this race.  An overflow field of 16 with 3 MTO’s and one AE are entered to go 5 ½ furlongs on the turf weather permitting.  Please let us know if you are planning to attend. Scott’s pre-race analysis is below.  Good luck to all ARC25 Group 97 Members and Trainer – Partner Kelly Breen.

SPEED FIGURES fired another 3-furlong breeze in :36 seconds flat on Sunday and did it all within himself; with his regular exercise rider, Na, standing straight up in the stirrups and a tight hold on the reins…again. It’s safe to say he’s ready to run, and his target race for this Sunday at Laurel Park was carded as Race 7 on the 10-race card in Maryland, He drew Post Position #3 for the second level allowance, 5.5-furlong turf sprint, in an overfilled race of 16-entries (3 MTO’s), plus one AE! Post Time is set for just before 3:00 PM, and he gets one of the top local riders, Jevian Toledo, in the saddle. Like any second level allowance, this race has come up tough, and has plenty of early speed to contend with.  He is the speed of the race from the inside, so a clean break should see him clear his neighbors easily, but with #8-Quick Tempo, #11-Saxton, #12-Swill, and #14-Nothing Better all showing early gate speed too, we are expecting a fast pace on the front end. On paper there are a few of these that are just as fast as Speed Figures, so while we should see company on the frontend, a clean break will be critical for saving ground along the inside; forcing the other speed to stay to the outside, and hopefully get caught wide! He is ready to roll, and we’re excited to get him back against Allowance company.

Speed Figures is entered to run on September 28, 2025, at LAUREL PARK.
