Hi All,

Happy Derby weekend and we are excited with two races coming up one this afternoon and one tomorrow and the opening of Monmouth Park’s 2026 and 81st season next Saturday May 9th.  In addition, we have scheduled our first 2026 Owner for a Day Event for Saturday June 13th which is Haskell Preview Day at Monmouth Park.  Please let us know if you are interested in spending the day with us including morning training,  a visit to the backside barns to meet and feed our horses and viewing the excellent race card from a beautiful Winner’s Circle Terrace Suite.  This event fills up quickly so if you are interested please let us know and we will send you the details.

Speed Figures is entered today in Race 6 at Gulfstream Park in a 5-furlong turf sprint with post at 3:53 p.m. (see pp’s attached above and details below).  Sammy Camacho will be aboard as the 9/5 favorite in a short field of five with the scratch of the 2 and 7 horses to hopefully kick off the weekend on a winning note.  Scott’s race day analysis is below and good luck to all Group 97 ARC25 Members and Trainer – Partner Kelly Breen.

It's race day for SPEED FIGURES at Gulfstream Park, as he'll go in Race 6 - a 5f turf sprint, Starter Allowance! Post Time is set for 3:53 PM today, and gets Samy Camacho in the saddle, breaking from Post Position #5 as the ML favorite at 9-5 odds! It's down to a short field of five horses after two early scratches of the #2-Gabaldon and #7-Biz Biz Buzz.  We'll face off against one familiar foe, #4-XY Speed, who Speed Figures has handled their last two meetings. The other early speed is to our outside with #6-Louie the Sun King, but he prefers a stalking trip, and with Speed Figures just to his inside, he likely doesn't have the speed to keep up with a clean break. As always, we'll be looking for the lead out of the gate and hopefully Samy can keep him reserved enough to still have that closing kick to put them away late.  The scratch of #2-Gabaldon should be helpful for us, and Speed Figures is a perfect 2 for 2 over the turf course this year at Gulfstream Park, looking to get another win today! Good luck!

Speed Figures is entered on May 1, 2026, at GULFSTREAM PARK.

Foggy Note is entered in Race 9 at Gulfstream Park tomorrow Saturday May 2nd in Race 9 with a post time of 5:07 p.m. (see pp’s attached above and details below.  Paco Lopez will be in the irons in this competitive Florida Bred Allowance with a 65K purse leaving from post position 8.  They are the current opening line favorite at 2- 1. Scott’s pre-race comments are below and good luck to all Group 99 ARC26 Members and Trainer – Partner Kelly Breen.

We finally have FOGGY NOTE entered for  Saturday, May 2nd (Kentucky Derby Day!), in Florida Bred Allowance! Running for another $65,000 purse, the race was finally carded as a 6.5f sprint, and Foggy Note will get BLINKERS ON! She has been training well with the addition of Blinkers, and Kelly's thinking is that she will be going right to the lead and hopefully not looking back! We'll need a clean break, as always, but she comes into the race doing well, and draws to the outside in Post Position #8, against a shorter field of eight fillies and mares. Paco Lopez gets the call in the saddle. The early speed looks to be all drawn to the inside, so hopefully we have no issues clearing the outside horses to get over, but #3-Slew Diva is a fast filly and likes the be on the frontend, so it will likely be a contested early pace scenario.  #1-Nasti Z is cutting back in distance after trying the G2 Gulfstream Park Oaks last out, and #2-Sweet Dream Lady finished 3rd behind Foggy Note last out and looks to be an improving 3YO filly.

Foggy Note is entered on May 2, 2026 at GULFSTREAM PARK.

Red Head Italian has been training well at Penn National but will ship in next week to join the rest of the stable in Kelly Breen’s Barn at Monmouth Park as we are pointing her towards a 5 ½ furlong sprint on Mother’s Day May 10th.  More to come on the next update.

She’s a Gamer doing well after her exciting win last Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs (see Chart below) and has arrived at Monmouth Park along with One Time Willard, Cadet Corps and Adversary safely earlier today.  We will be updating our plans with them later next week.

She's a Gamer finished 1st by 8 lengths, on April 24, 2026, at TAMPA BAY DOWNS in Race 2.
Off odds: .80
