Hi All,
Following up on a successful weekend for our ARC 25 and ARC 26 Groups with a win and two seconds we have our Group 90 ARC23 with a race later this afternoon looking to help build on the 2026 Kenwood Racing Stable running line from 12 starts currently at 3-3-2 for a 25% Wins and 67% in the money line.
Outlaw Country is entered in Race 8 today at Gulfstream Park going 6 furlongs on the dirt with a post time of 4:23 pm. (see pp’s above and details below) With the morning odds posted at 6-1 Pietro Moran will be aboard in this field of 8 looking to run down the likely front runners in the stretch. Scott’s race day analysis is below and good luck to all Group 90 ARC23 Members and Trainer- Partner Kelly Breen.
It’s RACE DAY for OUTLAW COUNTRY at Gulfstream Park! 2025 Eclipse Winning Apprentice Jockey Pietro Moran gets the mount today, as OC rolls right back at the same level he ran last out, finishing a respectable 3rd: beaten by a nose for 2nd! There is plenty of early speed to his inside on paper, and the outside post draw should set him up nicely to stalk the pace and make his late run turning for home. The key will be not getting forced 3-4 wide around the turn, as the ground loss cost him the 2nd Place finish last out. He’s been training great out of that last effort and can hopefully move forward coming back to dirt for the second time in over two years! Fingers crossed for a little racing luck, as we look to get Outlaw Country back into the Winner’s Circle!

Red Head Italian is entered in Race 4 at Penn National on Thursday March 19th with post time of 7:12 pm (see pp’s above and details below) going 6 furlongs on the dirt. She will have Jomar Torres ride for the 6th consecutive time following a successful run of 5 starts with 2 wins a second and a third since arriving in Trainer Mark Salvaggio’s Barn in November 2025. She will leave from post six in this short field of six and is currently 10-1 on the opening line with the bump up in class. Good luck to all Group 91 members and Partner RJR Racing. Scott’s early analysis is below.
After we were shutout from the Clm5000NW4 race last week without carrying over, we decided to monitor the Clm10000NW4 entry this week, and after a short field of five carried over on Day 1, we have RED HEAD ITALIAN back in the entries next Thursday, March 19th at Penn National! Carded as Race 4 with a Post Time at 7:12 PM, RHI gets jockey Jomar Torres back in the saddle on the step up in class. She is 10-1 on the ML amongst the short field of six horses, and drew the outside Post Position #6. There is some other early speed coming from the inside with #1-Sinelikeadiamond, so RHI will need to break cleanly from the outside and hopefully can sit off that early speed to the inside, saving enough energy to kick clear turning for home, by having first crack at the leader. The favorites are all stalkers/closers, so we’d like to avoid a speed duel for the 6-furlong distance!

Lisa Connects was entered Friday for Race 7 at Gulfstream Park on Friday March 20th at 3:52 pm (see pp’s above and details below). She has been training great for Kelly Breen since her dominating Maiden win on February 12th, with a bullet workout on Friday (see below). Edwin Gonzalez will be in the irons to try for two in a row in a field of nine going 1 1/16 miles on the Synthetic Tapeta surface. Good luck to all Group 91 Members. Scott’s early pre-race comments are below.
Gulfstream Park has carded the Starter Allowance we were targeting for LISA CONNECTS next Friday, March 20th, as she’ll run against a full field of nine, 3YO fillies, going 1-1/16 Miles on the Synthetic. Jockey Edwin Gonzalez is back aboard for the step up in class, and they’ll break towards the outside, from Post Position #7. Lisa Connects has been improving each and every race, and ultimately deserves this shot off her blowout Maiden win, but this will be a tough test against the toughest competition she has faced! The speed of the race looks to be #3-Divine Blue, but LC has been showing early speed in her last few races in South Florida also, and with a clean break should have the perfect post position to stalk that early speed. There will be other pursuers though, with #2-Always Ready and #9-Brat Girl showing some tactical speed in previous races as well, so Edwin will have to read and react out of the gate to how “hot” the early pace is. It’s a slight stretch out in distance from the 1 Mile & 70 Yards, so a speed duel on the front end is not what we want! Kelly gave Lisa Connects a breeze, in company, yesterday at Palm Meadows on the dirt track, and she rattled off the bullet breeze of the day for 3-furlongs with her workmate! You can see a video of that breeze using the link below, and Lisa Connects is on the inside, along the rail. She went in-hand while pushing the pace, and you’ll see as they get closer to Kelly videoing, LC’s ears are ‘pricked’ and she thinks she’s in a race! They stopped the clock in 36.1 seconds, and LC had a strong gallop-out to finish it off. It was the type of breeze that says, “I’m ready.”, and fingers crossed she can continue to improve with the step up in class next week! Worth noting, Lisa Connects’ birthday is two days later on March 22nd .

Cadet Corps has continued to
CADET CORPS was nominated to G3 Ghostzapper Stakes this morning and we’ll take a look at the nominations, in conjunction with the new Condition Book, to make a decision on where the next best spot for him will be. It’s always nice to have options,
Speed Figures has come out of his impressive win last Saturday in good order (see chart attached above) and has been back to the track showing good energy this week! No specific target for him just yet, as we wait on the next Condition Book for Gulfstream Park to be released over the next week; fingers crossed for a couple nice options sprinting on turf!
One Time Willard had his first breeze back on the turf on Friday at Palm Meadows and boy did he impress the team! Use the link below to see a video from Kelly, with Willard on the inside along the rail, breezing in company with an Allowance/Stakes quality horse from Kelly’s stable. It was just the kind of “test” Kelly wanted for Willard at this stage of his comeback training and he was up for the game As you can see once they got into the stretch, Willard just takes over with ease, pulling ahead to cross the wire first in 45.2 for the 4-furlong breeze; good for the 3rd fastest of the day at that distance on the turf. With the rails down on the turf, it is expected to see some faster times than usual, but that is still an eye-catching workout and exactly what we wanted to see from him! Kelly continues to ask more from Willard every day/week, and he continues to deliver. He is close being back in the entries, and he certainly looks like he’s ready to compete again! Fingers always crossed, but all is good with our ARC25 stable.

Cali Heat has been shipped to Pennsylvania to begin training for his second career as a riding horse and is no longer part of the Kenwood Stable. We with him well in his future activities.
Lisa’s Palace is well and has been under preparation this past week in order to to bring her to New York’s leading Stallion Bucchero later this month.
