Hi all,

We are racing today and Saturday afternoon at Gulfstream Park to wind down the 2025 season.  We are looking to improve our final racing statistics for the year where Kenwood Racing LLC is leading in both Winning and top 3 finish percentage by far over all other US Racing Syndicates who have had at least 15 starts this year.  I have attached a list compiled by the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) above showing the stats for all public groups.  Through 51 starts this year we have a 16 W, 10 P, and 9 S line for 68.63% In the Money and Winning 31.37% with the next closest at 27.54% (minimum 15 starts).  A big thank you to our Trainers Kelly Breen and Mark Salvaggio and their staffs and our friends Jeanne and Ken at Sunset Meadow Farm who have helped make this possible.  If you want to be part of the action, we have one outstanding share left in our Kenwood Racing Group 99 ARC26 program available. We have a short power point presentation that explains how the program works and would welcome anyone who is interested to let us know ASAP as the Group will be closed out after the sale of this share.. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, and please don’t wait if you want to be part of the exciting potential of ARC26!

Lisa Connects is entered this afternoon in Race 8 at Gulfstream Park going one mile on the turf.  The field has been reduced to 7 horses with two morning scratches of #3 Affirming and # 9 Estrella (see pp’s attached above and details below)   She will be #8 but leaving from post 7 because of the scratches meaning nobody on the outside of her.  She has been working well for trainer Kelly Breen (see workout info below) and we are hoping that she moves forward in her 2nd career start.  Scott’s pre-race comments are below and good luck to all Group 98 members.

We have been patient getting LISA CONNECTS back into the Starting Gate for her second career race, and we are hoping that patience pays off later today, as she is set to run in the finale today at Gulfstream Park, a Mdn25000 turf route, going 1 Mile.  Post Time is set for 3:54 for Race, and LC gets the young rider, Edwin Gonzalez in the saddle today! One interesting note about Kelly’s Trainer’s Stats listed within the attached PP’s – he is 6 for 16 this year with Maiden 2nd Time Starters, good for a 38% strike rate! Lisa Connects is coming into today off her best three workouts for Kelly and his team, and we have always been hopeful that a switch to the turf surface will benefit her; fingers crossed!  She drew Post Position #8 against an initial field of nine runners, but with the scratches of #3-Affirming and #9-Estrella, it’s down to a shorter field of seven and LC now gets the outside post. That should set her up well to settle off the early pace, before making a late run into the stretch, just avoiding getting caught wide around both turns. She has done a nice job in her recent breezes of settling early and finishing with a stronger run, the opposite of what she did in her debut, and we are looking for more of that today; with the switch to turf only benefitting her late kick! Good luck to all group members and our Kenwood Partners today!

Lisa Connects is entered today at GULFSTREAM PARK.

Distance: Three Furlongs
Time: 38:75 Breezing
Track Condition: Fast
Surface: Dirt

Outlaw Country has come out of his last disappointing 6th place finish in good order, and he is entered in Race 3 at Gulfstream Park on Saturday December 20th going 5 ½ furlongs on the Synthetic Tapeta surface (see pp’s attached above and details below).  Top rider Junior Alvarado will be in the irons leaving from post 6 in a field of 10 to try to get him back on track after the questionable ride by Joe Bravo in his last.  Scott’s early analysis is below and good luck to all Group 90 ARC23 members and Trainer- Partner Kelly Breen.

We’re getting aggressive with OUTLAW COUNTRY next Saturday, December 20th, dropping him back into the claiming ranks right off his disappointing trip last out. He’s come out of that race doing well, and with the opportunity to a steal race coming back off short rest, we knew we had to enter. OC gets top jockey Junior Alvarado in the saddle for the drop in class, going 5.5 Furlongs on the Tapeta Course and breaking from Post Position #6 against a full field of 10 runners. At the end of the day, OC has been very competitive in the claiming ranks this year, but has not been able to move forward stepping back up to Allowance/Starter Allowance company. His 1st and 2nd Place finishes back at Monmouth Park over the Summer are exactly the type of finish we’re looking for with this drop in class. While there is always the risk of losing a horse in a Claiming race, Outlaw Country has been beaten by a combined 20+ lengths in his last three races; albeit against better horses than he’ll be facing next Saturday at Gulfstream Park. Carded as Race 3 on a Stakes-rich card, with a Post Time of 1:20 PM, there does look to be plenty of early speed entered, led by #1-Banneker and #9-Torch Is Passed, both need-the-lead type horses. Torch Is Passed is coming off the three month layoff, but dropping down from similar company to where OC has been running, and is 5 for 9 over the GP Tapeta course, to go with a perfect 3 for 3 record at the distance; likely the horse to beat, if healthy as he is coming out of a voided claim last out in August, which is the second voided claim of his career. Regardless, hopefully we see a speed duel on the front end and Junior Alvarado can keep OC close enough early to catch the leaders in the stretch with his patented late kick that has given us so many thrills the past two years!

Outlaw Country is entered to run on December 20, 2025, at GULFSTREAM PARK.

Red Head Italian is well at Penn National after back-to-back easy wins on November 28th and December 12th.  We are targeting a race at Parx on January 6, 2026, for her next start as Penn is closed for racing until mid-February.  Training does continue at Penn so she will remain there with Mark Salvaggio while shipping out to race.

Cadet Corps had a nice breeze last Friday (see below) but we decided to wait for the new condition book to come out for January at Gulfstream Park instead of entering him in what has come up as a tough spot in the Harlan’s Holiday stakes to be run this Saturday.  Hopefully, some better options in the future.

Speed Figures has been galloping well for trainer Kelly Breen and was taken off the Vet’s list on Wednesday after an examination and bullet work for the state vet (see link to video and details below).  We will be looking for a race for him in the new condition book at Gulfstream as well.  Happy to get him back to the races soon.

One Time Willard continues to enjoy his time at Sunset Meadow Farm and has gotten into the Holiday Spirit as seen in the attachment above.  He should be ready to make the trip to Palm Meadows during the first week of January to resume training after a well deserved break.

Cali Heat has continued to progress in his recovery from injury at Sunset Meadow and is enjoying his time in the round pen.  We will be looking for a new home for him early next year and if anyone has interest in helping him in his second career please let us know.
