Solid return

• Bullion made his long awaited return at the Fair Grounds today and finished 5^th after battling for the lead early with the eventual winner in a very fast early pace. Tried hard, needed the race obviously after a lengthy layoff, showed plenty of speed against a super tough field. We got this race under his belt exactly as planned to have him ready for the Oaklawn Park meet that begins next month with some of the largest purses in the nation at all levels. It’s been a journey with this horse, all minor stuff but a lot more time off than racing. With a little luck our patience is about to be rewarded. Assuming he comes out well this race should set him up perfectly for Oaklawn.
• Giuliana Vee runs tomorrow in a full 10 horse field with 2 extras but gets a good post and rider, adds blinkers for this, and we are hoping for her to take a step forward to end the year on a good note.
