Long May You Run, one of our favorite and hardest trying runners, faced a very tough field of allowance horses in his 2016 debut on April 29th, when he led for most of the race at 24 to 1 odds, only to tire in the final 16th of a mile to finish 6th, beaten less than 3 lengths for the win. Off that race he appeared primed for a win and he got it in his 2nd start of the year on Preakness Day, May 21st, as he dominated a slightly lesser group by nearly 3 lengths at Penn National, winning in hand. He's certainly lived up to his name, as he's on track for another very good year at age 5 after fine two and three and four year old seasons. This Pa bred gelding by City Zip flew past $160,000 in career earnings with his most recent win and we think there's more wins to come.
