Kenwood Racing welcomed long time co-owner Ellen Lowenhar Gaynor as another in the growing list of Kenwood Racing partners as of October 1, 2017.  “Ellen & her late husband Bob are close personal friends of mine” explained Kenwood founder and managing partner H. Robb Levinsky. “They participated in most of our co-owner groups over the last few years and Ellen has become a real student of the thoroughbred game. All of our partners felt she would be a perfect fit for our company and we are delighted to have her join us as a Kenwood partner”.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Ellen moved to New Jersey at age 11 and has lived there ever since. After graduating Rutgers University with a BA in Political Science and History, Ellen had a long and successful career in Retail for Macys Inc. as a Director of Product Development, Buyer, Merchandiser and Strategic Planner. She retired in 2016 to pursue personal interests of Thoroughbred Horses, Gardening, The Asbury Park Shade Tree Commission, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Photography, Biking, Yoga, Walking, Friends and Family. Ellen and Bob Gaynor relocated to Monmouth County and Asbury Park in 2011. “Bob & I were childhood sweethearts, married for 36 years” Ellen explained. “We both enjoyed being co-owners in a number of groups and getting to know the Kenwood Racing team. Kenwood was something Bob & I shared and I know he would have loved the idea that I am now going to be an owner of the company”.

Kenwood’s unique “Taste of Thoroughbred Ownership®” program continues to experience dramatic growth and expects to welcome its 100th co-owner to the Kenwood Racing family in 2017.
