Founded in 1998, Kenwood Racing has won hundreds of races nationwide. The company is renowned for winning lucrative and prestigious races at huge odds with horses purchased for very modest prices. Kenwood’s stakes winners include Prime Meridian, who won the $200,000 California Derby at odds of 16 to 1, Puerto Plata, who won the $100,000 Golden Poppy Handicap at odds of 11 to 1, Exchanging Fire, who won the Without Feathers Stakes at odds of 29 to 1, 2011 New Jersey horse of the year Hermosillo, who won the $100,000 Charles Hesse Handicap at Monmouth Park in 2009 at odds of 35 to 1 and again in 2011 at odds of 9 to 1, and stakes winner and graded stakes placed Michael With Us, who won the $100,000 OBS Championship Stakes in 2013 as a maiden. These stakes winners and many others were purchased for just $20,000 - $150,000 by Kenwood’s management team. Among the leading owners at Monmouth Park from 2009 to date, Kenwood enjoys excellent winning percentages with their runners. The company has had particular success employing trainers who work with a limited number of horses and clients, which allows them to operate in a very "hands-on" fashion. Our unique Taste of Thoroughbred Ownership® program offers a client-friendly way to own racehorses for a one-time payment of $5,000 - $10,000 with no markups or hidden fees. Kenwood invests our own money in the horses we recommend and purchase for clients. Our business is thoroughbred management for clients. Our willingness to invest our own money alongside the people we manage horses for sets us apart in the thoroughbred business
