• New Found Treasure got into the race we were looking for this Friday at The Meadowlands. Good we scratched her from the race last week in favor of this much less competitive spot.  
  • Giuliana Vee gets in at Penn National for her career debut in a nice maiden allowance event this Thursday. A full field, she’s doing well, Kelly Breen will let her break from the gate at Monmouth Parkone more time before she runs.

  • Solar is doing excellent. We got an extra put up for him at The Meadowlands, enter Wednesday for Saturday (closing day). If that doesn’t go, we’ll look for other spots for him at other tracks.
  • ShimmyShimmy Shake There’s an excellent spot for her in the book at the beginning of November.  
  • Rapstorerocks had some diarrhea this morning, nothing too serious, probably a reaction to the medication he received when he lost his rider coming off the track last week at Monmouth Park, fell, and got some bloody cuts that fortunately were only skin deep. He had a fever previously, been a series of minor things delaying his next start. A perfect example of why we frequently remind people they are raceHORSES, not racecars. You can’t plan races, entry dates etc. The horse tells us when they are ready to run, we don’t tell them. The game requires patience! Yes, you’ve heard this before, yes it can be frustrating at times; we feel the same way. It’s how competitive athletics works, with horses and people.
  • Shake It Up Baby training at T-Square Stud and doing super. He’ll be ready to ship to Gulfstream Park to continue his training there with Kelly Breen shortly.
