General News

  • Wonderful news last week as Lisa Limon gave birth to a lovely filly by Connect on Wednesday night at Overbrook Farm (see video taken shortly after she was born on Wednesday night and pictures and video of the two of them out in the paddock on Friday morning).  Congratulations to our Lisa Limon Broodmare Group on the addition of this great looking filly to the group and for Lisa Limon now four out of four with her foals since becoming a broodmare, a truly remarkable feat.
  • We will be attending the April OBS at the end of next month with the hope of acquiring a couple of two year olds to add to the stable.  Please let us know if you want to be placed on the list for possible Group Membership if we are successful.

Horse by Horse News

  • U Kant Whip It had visitors this morning at Overbrook Farm in Colt’s Neck (see photo and videos) as Scott and I and some Group Members were able to see him train.  Farm trainer Rory Huston said “he has been on the Muscle the past week and just wants to get on the track to gallop” which he did well today.  We are looking forward to good things from him once the turf season opens in the Northeast.
  • Without a Net had her first official breeze Saturday morning since getting back in training at Palm Meadows, going an easy 3F in 38.35 seconds (see below). Trainer Kelly Breen was not interested in the time for this first breeze back, reporting post workout that she moved well and was cooling out in good order. See video by Kelly of her breeze this morning; Without A Net is the horse on the outside.
