Horse by Horse News

  • We had a nice visit to Sunset Meadow Farm on Tuesday to see our 3 two year olds that are freshening up there.  Here are some pictures of Tessa P, U Kant Whip It, and Street Facts from our visit.  All are doing well and should be back to Monmouth Park to begin training in a few weeks.
  • Adhwaa ran well in Race 1 at Monmouth Park last Friday night and finished a game second after taking the lead at the top of the stretch in a race that was just a bit longer than we she is comfortable with.  Good sign after a disappointing effort 2 races back.  She is fine afterwards and we will be looking for a rare 7 furlong race or a flat mile for her in August.
  • Charge Account followed her stablemate in Race 2 at Monmouth Park to almost an identical outcome.  She also made the lead at the top of the stretch but got nipped by ¾ of a length at the wire in a race that was very fast. Also good following the race and there should be plenty of options for this versatile filly in the next few weeks.
  • Fire's Finale is fine after his race Tuesday at Parx.  He did not finish with the usual big effort perhaps because he was practically handed the lead early on in the moderately paced race.  Once he gets a few days rest we will determine the next move for him.
  • Tracy Ann's Legacy well out of her last race at Monmouth Park and we are looking for a little easier spot for her next race. There may be a race the last week in July that will work well for her
  • Life On the Edge with Mark Salvaggio at Penn National and we are looking for something for her towards the end of July on the grass either at Penn or Monmouth Park.
  • Cup of Life had a nice worked on July 11th and is progressing well towards her debut later this summer. Kelly feels she is close to being ready for her debut.
