General News

Happy Holidays to all,

As the next few weeks will be rather slow for us, we were able to get permission from Gary Falter who is the Manager of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association to give you the links for the various panels at the 2022 Conference which was held in Saratoga this past summer: 2022 panels.

Many of the Kenwood Partners and Group Members have attended these conferences in the past and Robb was a panelist a few years ago at Delmar.  We find these panels to be very interesting and educational so please take some time to watch them when you have time.

  • It is always nice to finish out the year on a good note as Easy as A.B.C. had an easy time of it as he broke his maiden yesterday at Gulfstream Park.  After struggling in his last 2 races against much tougher competition, he welcomed the class relief to win going away against a much less capable group.  Although he was claimed from us, this race highlights the importance of running at a level that will best give a chance for a win.  When running in much tougher races earlier this year, he was never better than 3rd and was never closer than 3 1/2 lengths from the winners.  We wish him well with his new connections and will monitor his progress going forward.
  • U Kant Whip It is well at Sunset Meadow Farm and is certainly ready to celebrate as shown in the picture.  Thanks to Jeannie and Ken for taking such great care of him and sending us timely photos.
  • Ellie's a Riot is set to breeze 3 furlongs next week in Ocala as she is progressing well.
  • Without a Net has been working under tack and doing well in Ocala (see picture of her on the training track).  Thanks to Group Member Jim Walters who was able to visit her earlier this month.
  • Our Palace Malice - Lisa Limon21 filly is doing well at Manuden Farm with Nick de Meric while prepping for the spring sales as well as Group 88 Yearlings
  • At Hidden Brook farm Lisa Limon and her Vino Rosso filly are both doing well.
