Kenwood Racing Weekly Horse Update
General News
Happy Derby Week Everyone!
With the upcoming Kentucky Derby on Saturday we know that the Northeast Racing Season will be in full swing in a few weeks. Tracks are open to fans attending the races and with fingers crossed, we are hoping that the backside barns will be accessible for our Co-owners to see their horses in person very soon. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the Monmouth Park Kentucky Derby Viewing Party in the Turf club on Saturday.
The April OBS sale was very competitive and the prices were high for horses that met our standards, so we were unable to find any real value there. We are now putting our efforts into finding some quality State Breds or a nice filly with pedigree at the upcoming Fasig- Tipton Sale of 2 year olds in training in the middle of May.

- Fire's Finale had a nice maintenance work today at Palm Meadows. He was entered for an allowance race today at Gulfstream Park that didn’t go and we are looking at a small stakes race on May 15th at Gulfstream Park called “The Roar” or if not, shipping him up to Monmouth Park for a race at Parx. Kelly said “he is ready to run”.
