We are confirmed with Kelly Breen and his team for another Breakfast & Backside event this upcoming Saturday, July 8th, at 8:00 AM. We’ll provide bagels, donuts, coffee and juice to watch our horses train on the track from the elevated Summer Wind patio in the Clubhouse area, before heading over to the backside as a group to see our horses at Kelly’s barn, and get to feed them carrots and mints for photo ops! Please RSVP to either scott@kenwoodracing.com or george@kenwoodracing.com if you can attend, and provide the names of people that will be joining. Due to new procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of horses and humans living on the backside, we need to provide all names of people entering the backside with us, and it will help save some time if we can give them the names ahead of time.
With Montauk Summer scheduled to run on Friday, we are currently expecting to have U Kant Whip It, Without A Net, Boston Princess, Red Head Italian, Lisa’s Palace, and both our new 2YO’s purchased out of the OBS June Sale less than a month ago on track Saturday morning while we are there. There are still limited share available in both the Mitole filly and the Flameaway colt, so this will be a great opportunity to see them in person; both on track, and back at the barn! We look forward to seeing many of you there are Saturday, and if you can’t make it we are planning on at least two more Breakfast & Backside events this Summer.
