Kenwood Racing sold a racehorse and a broodmare prospect at the Fasig-Tipton Winter Mixed sale in Timonium, Maryland on January 31st, followed by the sale of the standout racehorse and broodmare prospect Titanium Jo at the Fasig-Tipton Winter Mixed sale in Lexington, Kentucky on February 8th. Big Apple Brit a five year old gelding, was sold as a racing prospect, while Hardrainsgonnafall was sold as a broodmare prospect. Big Apple Brit came into the sale with excellent form, having won on January 16th since the catalog. Hardrainsgonnafall meanwhile is a lovely broodmare prospect from a fine young family, by the top sire Hard Spun.

“Both these horses offer real opportunity” explained Kenwood founder & racing manager H Robb Levinsky. “Brit is in great form and should be a money earner for his new owner. Hardrainsgonnafall should make a lovely broodmare, she’s sound and should be a great fit for one of the new stallion prospects in the mid-atlantic region.  We'll miss them but we are buying a lot of two year olds this year and we need to make room in the barn.

Titanium Jo (Bernstein - Kings Lynn) Hip #245  in the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky winter mixed Sale on February 8th  was offered as a racing or broodmare prospect with earnings over $100,000, all earned under Kenwood silks. “With an exceptional female family, by a top sire, and having just turned 4 this month, she was in great demand and brought $95,000 at the sale. "We congratulate and thank her new owners, they have the option to race or breed a very nice filly” Levinsky said.  “She’s been a close 4th three times in stakes and certainly has the potential to get black type if someone choose to continue racing her this year”

Kenwood has a policy that any horse in the barn is for sale. Inquiries about the sales horses are welcome.
